GENERAL OBJECTIVES

The Spanish companies related to mobility management are pioneer in the internalization and exportation of their know-how. Since many years ago, Europe, Asia, Latin-America, United States… are territories that use Spanish engineering and technology respecting urban and interurban mobility management.  The Traffic Department of the Spanish Home Office (Dirección General de Tráfico, DGT) and Madrid City Councl are one of the most advanced Administrations in this field, representing a model with good results in the co-operation between companies and public Administrations.

The objective of the International Congress on Mobility Management is to become a national and international reference on this subject, exposing the latest advances related to urban and interurban areas. It will be focused on the creation of a show-window to the external market.

The participation of the Traffic Department, Madrid City Council, Spanish companies on mobility management and the Spanish Road Association (SRA) is essential in order to present the Spanish leadership on the exportation of technology, engineering and other services related to this sector. All of them belong to the Committee AEN/CTN 199 “Equipment for mobility management” which is chaired by the DGT.

During the congress, technical works will be presented and the latest advances and applications in this field will be exposed.  Moreover, Spanish regulation will be distributed and three technical visits of high interest will be organized: one to the Mobility Control Center of the Traffic Department in Madrid (DGT), the second to the Mobility Management Center of Madrid City Council, another to the Control Center of Calle 30 and the last one to the Center of Automated Complaints Processing (ESTRADA) in the city of León.

CANCELLATIONS
Registration cancellations before 30 November 2012 have a 50% refund of total amount. After this date, there will be no refunds.
All the reimbursements accepted will be made after the Congress.
